Putting together a core group and getting it to the point of Kick Off is a lot of hard work. People call my office every day wanting to start a chapter, but few ever follow through. They learn pretty quick that putting that first 15-20 people together is not as easy as they always seem to think it is.
Recently I received an Email from a Mortgage Broker who was sure that he would have little on no trouble at all getting a BNI Core Group together. After all he was very connected and 15 people would join on his say so. After several months he contacted my office to say that he gave up. He could not get 15 people to make the commitment to join, attend, and do the work of a core group.
With that said, I am proud to announce the Kick Off of two new chapters "The Benjamin's" and "Twin Lakes" We are very proud of both groups and the Assistant Directors Tony Sandlin and Marty Cotterman for all of their hard work.
